1. Subscription Overview
The Genesis Shield Plan is a monthly subscription that includes:
2 full solar panel or roof cleanings per year
1 bonus cleanings(upon request) in summer and/or fall
Priority scheduling for faster service
A full visual inspection & maintenance check
No hidden fees, just predictable coverage
Services are limited to routine cleaning and inspection. Repairs or replacement work are not included.
2. Payment Terms
The Genesis Shield Plan is offered in multiple subscription tiers depending on your number of panels or any other circumstances deemed applicable. Each tier includes an initial, one-time activation fee and ongoing automatic monthly billing via Stripe:
Tier 1: $20/month
Tier 2: $25/month
Tier 3: $29/month
Tier 4: $29/month
You must maintain an active, valid payment method. If a payment fails and is not resolved within 7 days, your subscription may be suspended.
The initial fee and subscription tier price is charged upon signup and covers plan activation and your first scheduled cleaning.
Monthly charges begin immediately after signup and are billed automatically to your saved payment method via Stripe.
All plans require a 12-month minimum commitment. Canceling before 12 months may result in an early termination fee (see Section 3).
3. Term and Cancellation
Your subscription is billed monthly and requires a 12-month minimum commitment.
Early Cancellation Penalty: If you cancel before completing a 12 month term, you will be charged an early termination fee of $200 or the remaining balance of the 12-month plan (whichever is lower).
Cancellation requires written notice via email or submitting a Cancellation Request Form at least 7 days before your next billing cycle.
After the 12-month period, your subscription continues month-to-month unless canceled.
4. Service Area and Scheduling
We service clients based on route availability, seasonal conditions, and safety factors.
You will be contacted in advance of each scheduled cleaning.
Missed or unscheduled cleanings do not carry over into the following year.
5. Roof Tile & System Condition Disclaimer
Our technicians use industry-standard safety measures and soft-cleaning techniques.
We are not liable for pre-existing damage or for tiles that break due to normal wear, fragility, or aging of roofing materials.
If we observe issues during cleaning, we will document them and notify you.
6. Access and Property Responsibilities
You agree to provide safe, unobstructed access to your roof or panels.
If we cannot complete the service due to locked gates, unsafe conditions, or lack of access, a $25 trip fee may apply.
Hazardous conditions (loose tiles, steep pitch, excessive moss) may result in rescheduling or refusal of service.
7. Refunds and Missed Service
No refunds will be issued for missed cleanings unless caused by our failure to deliver service within 60 days of a confirmed appointment.
If your subscription is canceled mid-term, no prorated refunds will be given except as required by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost energy savings, roof performance, or aesthetic outcomes.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past three (3) months.
9. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
In the event of a dispute, you and Genesis Solar Corporation agree to resolve the matter through binding arbitration conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You can review these rules at: https://www.adr.org/consumer
Arbitration will be held in Riverside County, California, unless both parties agree otherwise.
Each party is responsible for its own costs, unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.
By accepting these terms, you waive your right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.
This arbitration clause will survive cancellation, termination, or expiration of the subscription.
10. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time with 30 days’ notice, which may be provided by email or posted on our Facebook page. Continued participation in the Plan after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Electronic Consent
By subscribing to the Genesis Shield Plan, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms, and you consent to transact business electronically, including accepting recurring billing and service communication via email or SMS.
